The Armenian Association of Travel Agents is to take part in the Travel Turkey exhibition in Izmir, December 10-13.
Today’s Zaman reported that Armenian travels agents will have their pavilion at the exhibition. The participants will discuss the prospects for tourism development in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The exhibition has been organized by the Turkish Association of Travel Agents and the İzmir Fair Services Culture and Art Affairs Trade Inc. (İZFAŞ). Among the prospective participants are 430 companies from 17 countries.
Speaking of Armenia’s participation in the fair, Doğan İşleyen, İZFAŞ General Manager said that Armenian-Turkish tourism should be developed along with the bilateral dialogue, and Armenia’s participation is an important step on this way. Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertuğrul Günay will visit the Armenian pavilion. Turkish companies can take part in exhibitions held in Armenia as well.
