Yerevan has not yet commented on the information published in the Russian media that the Armenian ambassador to Russia had been summoned to the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

“If there is any response, we will inform,” Armenian MFA spokesperson Ani Badalyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier, we reported that according to Russian media, Armenian Ambassador Gurgen Arsenyan was summoned to the Russian MFA Thursday. The diplomat was informed that providing a “platform” in Armenia for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make terrorist threats against Russia was categorically unacceptable.

In addition, Russian MFA spokesperson Maria Zakharova on Thursday had noted s follows during a press briefing: "Yerevan has broken its promise not to take steps against Russia. The current foreign policy course of Armenia’s authorities will sooner or later lead to Armenia's irreversible involvement in Brussels' anti-Russian line. The declaration of the Armenia-EU summit shows that with the approval of Armenia’s authorities, the country is being led towards aggressive Euro-Atlantic mechanisms. Volodymyr Zelenskyy took advantage of such incomprehensible politeness from Armenian hosts to try to emerge from political oblivion, voice his Russophobic attacks."
