Turkish Chief Prosecutor Abdurrahman Yalcinkaya makes every effort to dissolve Justice and Development Party.
He appealed to the court on grave crimes by Sincan demanding present the decision of Telecommunications Administration (TİB), Turkish Taraf daily informs. Spread recent rumors that the Turkish Government bugs phone conversations. Milliyet quotes the Prosecutor, as saying: “The ruling party might be dissolved, as was tapping phone conversations, which conflicts with Turkish Constitution.”
Presently, Turkish Constitutional Court tries case of dissolving Kurdish Democratic Society Party.
Turkish Constitutional Court hears a case to dissolve the country's Kurdish Democratic Society Party, that has 21 seats in the Parliament. The court will make decision by Dec.11.
However, back in 2008, Turkish Constitutional Court repulsed Chief Prosecutor’s Office demand to close down Justice and Development Party.
