Stepanakert airport will accept first passengers in October, 2010. NEWS.am reporter in Stepanakert informs that the construction works have started. According to architect Tigran Barseghyan the airport will have all necessary conveniences: recreation room, staff room, first-aid post, cafés, etc.

NKR President Bako Sahakyan, Prime-Minister Ara Harutyunyan and other officials have recently visited the construction work area. Karabakh side says that the airport has both vital and political significance, it will strengthen the republic and will increase well-being standard.
