Auspicious fight of Azerbaijani opposition in regular parliamentary elections as a united political block is impossible, head of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloglu told 1news.az.

He outlined that shots taken at forming a unity in the opposition brought to light certain problems.

“Thus, we arrived at a decision to form an organizational unity for which through various configurations will call in the second option of putting in a united oppositional candidate in each polling district. That is the necessity of creating several political oppositional blocks arises,” said Jalaloglu, adding that early next month will canvass the issue with out-parties.

According to him, certain opposition parties are in difficult, strained relations: “They actually do not associate directly, do not communicate, while I have harmonious relations with all oppositionists.”

The regular parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November, 2010.
