YEREVAN. – After a five-day rise in the American dollar’s exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD) in Armenia’s financial market, it has begun to fall.    

The US currency’s average exchange rate against the dram comprised AMD 408.46/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday, and this is a 0.19-percent—or a 0.79-point—drop from the previous trading session on Wednesday. The stock exchange closed at AMD 408.25/$1. 

Thursday’s sales totaled $2 million at the stock exchange.

The dollar’s selling exchange rate somewhat fell until AMD 409/$1, in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is bought at AMD 405-407/$1.
