Iran is ready to purchase electricity from Georgia, Iranian FM Manouchehr Mottaki said after the meeting with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze, Georgian Kavkaz press news agency reports.
“Iran is interested in cooperation with Georgia in energy sector and is ready to purchase electricity when necessary,” Iranian FM said.
The day before Georgian Foreign Minister arrived on a day visit in Iran.
