H1 2009 Armenian official unemployment rate increased for 10.3%, totaling 84.1 thousand people compared to the same period last year, Armenian National Statistical Service reports.
In that period average wage level increased for 12.7% reaching 98.138 AMD. Budgetary wages grew by 17.4% amounting 81.282 AMD, whereas, non-budgetary – for 6.9% totalling 122 579 AMD.
According to NSS, unemployment rate in Armenia increased by 0.2% since May 2009.
