YEREVAN. – The AEGEE-Yerevan/European Students’ Forum of Yerevan youth NGO, with assistance by the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University, launched a program entitled “European Day of Languages.”     

This new youth project is an informal study course, during which the participants will have the opportunity to develop their language skills and acquire new knowledge in foreign languages.   

The main objective of the event is to raise the Armenian youth’s—specifically, the students’—awareness of European languages and to discuss the European countries’ policies toward national language.  

The program will bring together the youth from Armenia, Ukraine, France, and Poland. At the end of the event, the first Georgian-language full-length documentary film will be screened with English subtitles. 

The program will take place Saturday at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University.
