Starting Nov. 22, 2009 each Sunday Italian MEDIASET TV broadcasts documentary about Armenia.

Eight parts-20 minutes each have already been shown, RA Foreign Ministry informed NEWS.am. The series are as follows: “Armenia”, “Armenia, history continues in Venice”, “Armenia, what is the future?”, “Armenia: deep sorrow”, “Armenia: one church, one nation”, “Armenia: monasteries”, “Historical agreement” and “Armenia: country of screaming stones.”

The film depicts Armenia as a country with ancient Christian heritage, outlines tragic chapters in Armenian history (national liberation struggle, Genocide) as well as building of churches, music, architecture and Armenia’s history after gaining independence.

The film is notable for deep presentation of historic evidences by Italian journalists and high quality setting available on MEDIASET TV home page http://www.video.mediaset.it/.
