January 28, 2010 Chief Public Prosecutor of Turkish High Court of Appeals Abdurrahman Yalcinkaya had a secret 1.5-hour meeting with former President of Turkish Constitutional Court Mustafa Bumin, Turkish Stratejikboyut website reports.
According to the information, Yalcinkaya and Bumin discussed the dissolution of ruling Justice and Development Party and the issue of depriving Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President Abdullah Gul and others of political activities, making a point of their illegal bugging, which recently made a stir in Turkey.
In 2008 Constitutional Court discussed the lodge by Turkish Public Prosecutor's Office to close the ruling party, however it was rejected by the majority of votes.
