Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu delivered a speech at the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) in London. He addressed the Armenia-Turkey, Israel-Palestine and Turkey-Israel relations. Speaking of the Armenian-Turkish relations, minister Davutoglu made another statement denying the Armenian Genocide.

Quoting the Turkish FM, the Samanyolu news website reported that Turkey is seeking excellent relations with Armenia and considers it necessary that the relations influence on the relations between Armenians and Turks residing in different parts of the world. “Are we going to worry about history or build our future? We do not admit the Genocide because Armenians and Turks have been living together in the same villages and towns for more than thousand years, and you cannot see any instance of social tension.

”By signing the protocols we showed our willingness to improve our relations with Armenia and see the peaceful Caucasus. We cannot accept the verdict returned by the Armenian Constitutional Court. We wish that the relations between Armenia and Turkey, Armenians and Turks and all the nations be improved," Davutoglu said.
