YEREVAN. – Even though foreign currency trading was not conducted Friday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, the US dollar is generally inclined toward gaining value against the Armenian dram (AMD).
The asking price for the dollar was AMD 407.5/$1 at the stock exchange, in the case when Thursday’s average exchange rate was AMD 407.05/$1.
The buying exchange rate of the American currency rose all the way to AMD 407/$1, at Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is sold at a maximum high of AMD 409/$1.
