YEREVAN. – The presentation of Republic of Armenia passports to Syrian Armenians continued Thursday at Armenia’s Embassy in Syria.  

Armenian Ambassador to Syria, Arshak Poladyan, presented these passports to more than thirty new citizens of Armenia, MFA press service informs.     

Following the presentation ceremony, Ambassador Poladyan congratulated the new citizens, and noted that being a citizen of Armenia is a great honor for each and every Armenian. Also, he stressed that this is an historic and a memorable event for the children of the Armenian Genocide survivors, and expressed a hope that these new citizens will remain faithful to their oath. Subsequently, the ambassador wished success and peace to the new citizens of Armenia.

To note, Armenia’s Embassy in Syria continues to present Armenian citizenship passports, and dozens of other Syrian Armenians likewise will receive these passports in the coming days.
