YEREVAN. – The American national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 405.45/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday.

To note, the stock exchange had seen no trading for two consecutive sessions, and the aforesaid exchange rate is a 0.26-percent—or an AMD 1.05—drop from the previous trading session on January 17.

Tuesday’s sales totaled $5.8 million at the stock exchange.

The dollar’s exchange rate fell by approximately AMD 1, at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia; it is bought at AMD 404/$1 and sold at AMD 406/$1.
