YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s highways and mountain passes are primarily drivable, as of Thursday at 10am, but there is black ice on some road sections, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informs.

In addition, Tashir-Gogavan Highway is closed for traffic, due to blizzard and low visibility, whereas Norashen-Dzoramut motorway is difficult to pass, but Selim Mountain Pass is open.   

And according to the information received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, the Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway—which leads to the Armenian border—is open solely for buses with chained wheels and which seat up to thirty passengers.

Snow removal and road cleaning are in progress.
