YEREVAN. – Following a two-day “fall,” the exchange rate of the American national currency started to rise once again at the financial market of Armenia.  

The dollar’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 405.89/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday; this is a 0.36-percent—or an AMD 1.44—increase from the previous trading session on Wednesday. 

Thursday’s sales totaled $3.15 million at the stock exchange.

In Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, the dollar’s buying and selling exchange rates are at the AMD 404-407/$1 range respectively.
