February 5, 2010 Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State James Steinberg in Munich.

In the course of the meeting the officials discussed Karabakh peace process, bilateral relations and regional issues.

February 4, Steinberg visited Yerevan and held meetings with RA President Serzh Sargsyan, Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian and other high-ranking officials.

The parties exchanged views on Armenia-Turkey normalization process. U.S. diplomat expressed his country's readiness to continue all-round cooperation with Armenia, including regional issues.
