Rumors about a planned government reshuffle are getting stronger in Armenia. Among the first top-ranking officials to be replaced are the RA Prosecutor General, Chief of the RA National Security Service, Chief of the RA Police and a number of ministers.

RA Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan is expected to replace Aghvan Hovsepyan as RA Prosecutor General, Arzuman Harutyunyan, brother of RA Constitutional Court Chairman Gagik Harutyunyan and Chief of the Yerevan Department of the RA National Security Service, is likely to be appointed Chief of the RA National Security Service. Also, Chief of the Yerevan Police Department Nersik Nazaryan or Chief of the RA Military Police Vova Gasparyan are expected to be appointed Chief of the RA Police. The Haykakan Zhamanak (New Times) newspaper reports that the former has higher chances. New ministers of nature protection and health will be appointed as well. According to the source, a relevant decision has been made, and the new officials will be appointed within a month.
