YEREVAN. – Foreign currency trading was not conducted Thursday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange.

Even though the asking price for the American national currency was AMD 407.25/$1, which exceeds Wednesday’s average exchange rate, it did not have any bids.  

But the buying and selling exchange rate of the dollar rose somewhat at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, as compared to Wednesday. Now, there are more exchange offices that buy the US currency at AMD 405/$1 and sell it at AMD 408/$1.
