Van deputy governor Halil Berk informed that two more Armenian churches will be restored.

According to Turkish NTV, he recalled that beyond Surb Khach church on Akhtamar island there are 4 more around Lake Van. Berk declared that two of them – Varagavank, 5km away from Van (Yukaribakracli village) and one more are planned to be rebuilt, as attract more tourists. Earlier, head of Yukaribakracli and villagers applied to Van authorities requesting to restore the collapsed Varagavank.

Interestingly, Van deputy governor visited Armenian pavilion at the Istanbul exhibition (February 11-14) and talked to its representatives.
