The 2-day forest fire raging in Bodrum resort (Turkey) was partially extinguished earlier on July 24.
Panicking resort visitors were urgently evacuated. Local authorities blocked the streets to the neighboring Melas city to enable fire brigades, airplane and two helicopters work at the spot. As per preliminary information, around 10 hectare of forest area was reduced to ashes.
