Democrat Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee and member of U.S.-Turkey group Howard Berman will vote for the adoption of Armenian Genocide Resolution, Nouvelles d’Arménie magazine reports.
He survived Holocaust and considers Turkey should follow the example of Germany and avow its history. Attaching significance to Armenia-Turkey relations, Berman assumes that Genocide recognition will not affect U.S.-Turkey relations.
