It is a golden time to establish peace and security in the South Caucasus, OSCE PA President Joao Soares told the journalists in Baku in March 13.

“We are here to promote peace and cooperation in the Caucasus at the parliamentary level. We have long cooperated on the political issues and it is time to make decisions,” Trend News quotes Soares.

According to him, his visits to Armenia and Georgia aimed at the establishment of peace and cooperation and PACE delegation hopes to continue discussions on the matter in Azerbaijan.

Joao Soares once again reaffirmed that military solution to Karabakh conflict is unacceptable, “War and violence should be completely excluded.”

The PACE delegation headed by OSCE PA President Joao Soares and Special Representative on the Nagorno-Karabakh Goran Lennmarker arrived on a three-day visit to Azerbaijan on Saturday after visiting Armenia and Georgia.
