YEREVAN. – An Armenian governmental delegation participated in the 2013 annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) Group, in Washington DC.

Government Chief of Staff-Minister Vache Gabrielyan as well as Finance and Economy Ministers Davit Sargsyan and Vahram Avanesyan met with the IMF and the WB management, informs the press service of the Armenian government.

The parties discussed the projects which the two organizations will carry out with Armenia in the coming years, and the directions of these undertakings.

During the talk with the World Band leaders, the interlocutors also looked into the new strategy for Armenia’s development and attracting new resources to different sectors of the economy.       

At the meeting with the IMF directors, the officials discussed the details of the International Monetary Fund technical support to be provided to Armenia.
