On Saturday, Sargsyan will attend the funeral of European People’s Party (EPP) President Wilfried Martens, informs the Press Office of the President of Armenia.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, former Belgian PM and EPP President Wilfried Martens died on October 10, at the age of 77.
Under Martens’ leadership, the EPP became the largest political party of the European Parliament and had a great bearing on the European Union policy.
