Israel and Turkey have never been and will never be enemies, Israeli Ambassador to Turkey Gaby Levi stated at the meeting on “Development of Turkish-Israeli relations since Ottoman Empire” in Ankara, Turkish TRT website reports.

“There are lots of reasons for mending and developing bilateral relations, which have recently been strained,” he noted.

Israel-Turkey deep rooted relations date back 500 years, however it is ignored by international affairs analysts or politicians, Levy emphasized.
