Armenia is likely to cause serious problems with Turkey, reads Georgian Akhali Taoba daily. According to the source, Georgian Armenians submitted an address to the Parliament, urging to recognize Armenian Genocide.

Although the parliament might shelve the issue, sooner or later MPs will have to enter into discussions on the matter. Regardless the decision, it will incur displeasure of one of the neighboring states either Armenia’s — if rejected, or Turkey’s – if adopted. Turkey’s close ties with Georgia are widely known, thus it is unlikely that Georgian leadership will deteriorate relations with its major trading partner.
