Armenia registered the third highest rise in prices among the CIS member-countries in Jan.-April 2010. According to the national statistical services, Moldova, with a 5.8 % price rise since this January, tops the list, followed by Ukraine (4.4%), Armenia (4.2%), Kyrgyzstan (3.8%) and Kazakhstan (3.6%).  The next are Russia (3.6%), Belarus (3.1%), Azerbaijan (2.9%), Georgia (2.7%), Estonia (2.4%), Lithuania (1.9%), Tajikistan (1.8%) and Latvia (1.5%).

In May 2010 prices went up by 1 % in Armenia as compared with April. Inflation made 5.3% this January-May.
