From May 24 to June 2, a joint group of U.S. and British experts was on a regular consultative visit to Armenia as part of the work to revise Armenia’s defense strategy.

The participants in consultations summed up the 3rd stage and discussed the methods of the 4th stage of the revision. Representatives of the relevant departments of the RA Ministry of Defense and General Staff, RA Armed Forces, attended the consultations.  

The experts presented their preliminary observations and proposals to Chief of the General Staff, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov, RA Defense Ministry press service informed NEWS.am. On June 2, the results were presented to RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan. The Minister appreciated the international experts’ assistance and stressed the necessity of further activities.
