June 16, representatives of the oppositional Armenian National Congress (ANC) - Levon Zurabyan, Gagik Jahangiryan, Alexander Arzumanyan and Artak Zeynalyan - met with UN Special rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders Margaret Sekaggya, the ANC press service informed NEWS.am.
The ANC members presented the state of democracy in Armenia, particularly issues related to human rights, political prisoners, and freedom of assembly and media.
