On June 25, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger.
Sargsyan expressed content with the level of Armenian-Austrian political relations and made a point of the expansion of bilateral economic ties, the RA Governmental Information and PR Department informed NEWS.am. In his turn, the Austrian FM pointed out the Austrian Government’s interest in intensifying cooperation with the South Caucasian states.
Tigran Sargsyan pointed out the importance of the Eastern Partnership project under the European Neighborhood Policy. The sides stressed the need of signing the Armenia-EU association agreement on trade, as a priority over the development of economic cooperation. The creation of favorable conditions for investment was also stressed.
The officials also pointed out the significance of expanding cultural, educational and scientific cooperation.
