Commercializing of science remains a key problem. Budget funds for the investment of the innovation programs will be provided starting next year. However, only those projects funded also by private sector will be financed, the Chairman of the RA State Committee for Science Samvel Harutunyan told the journalists on June 25.

As to institutions of higher education, Harutunyan considers that vice-principal for research should hold negotiations with private sector, present projects and explain how a particular program can contribute to the solutionof the problems of a certain factory. The vice-principal should be a mediator between a scientist and a factory, he added.
