YEREVAN. – An 11-percent increase in passenger flow was recorded at Zvartnots International Airport of Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan in October 2014, as compared to October 2013.

In October of this year, the Airport served 179,602 passengers against 162,400 in past October, “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC informed.

In the same period, the number of flights rose by 6 percent. A total of 1,649 flights were conducted in October 2014, as compared to the 1,549 flights in past October.

In addition, numerous airlines increased the frequency of their flights, which resulted in reduced ticket prices.
