The allocation of the half of Russian stabilizing loan to industrial enterprises of Armenia by the Government is partly sensible, the Advisor to RA National Assembly Speaker on Economic Issues Tatul Manasserian told NEWS.am correspondent.
“The propriety of this allocation will be perceptible in the nearest months”, stated Mr Manasserian, emphasizing it is still insufficient for the stimulation of the whole industrial sector. Meanwhile, he expressed discontent that the companies obtaining a credit did not submit their business plans beforehand.
Questioned, whether he agrees with IMF Resident Representative in Armenia Ms. Nienke Oomes forecasts, that the external debt of Armenia by 2011 will reach 45% of GDP, but despite that Armenia will pay it off, Mr Manasserian said that the IMF forecasts are poor. “I am not delighted with IMF and WB work, they should function more efficiently, and better refer to their problems, and then deal with ours”, Mr Manasserian resumed.
