The Armenian and Austrian Governments signed an international traffic agreement on June 29, the press service of the RA Ministry of Transport and Communication told NEWS.am.

The document was signed by RA First Deputy Minister of Transport Hrant Beglaryan and Director General of the Roads and Aviation Department, Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology, Peter Franzmeyer.

The agreement provides the scheduled and unscheduled motor transportation between Armenia and Austria, as well as transit between either of the countries and a third country. RA Minister of Transport and Communications Gurgen Sargsyan, who attended the signing procedure, stated that the agreement inaugurates a new level of Armenian-Austrian cooperation. He also pointed out that Armenian laws allow bilateral cargo transportation.

The head of the Austrian delegation stressed that the present bilateral cooperation further will reach a new level, which will promote the development of bilateral cargo transportation.
