YEREVAN. – All of Armenia’s roads are primarily open for traffic, as of Friday at 8am, informed the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.

But Vardenyats (Selim) Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar motorway are closed.

Several other motorways throughout the country as well as the Dilijan city bends are difficult to drive.

There is black ice on some sections of the motorways in the Armavir, Kotayk, Shirak, and Syunik Provinces.

And there is blizzard on the Aparan-Alagyaz and Paruyr Sevak-Zangakatun motorways.

The road crews are scattering salt and sand on the motorways and are also cleaning them to ensure safe travel.

And according to the information received from the Emergency Situations Department of Georgia, the country’s Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is closed for all vehicles.
