“A rapturous reception” of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko by the Leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan during the CSTO Summit in Armenia in August, provoked wide discontent in the Russia’s political elite.

According to the biweekly, the Armenian oligarch was sternly warned by his Moscow “curator”, if the invitation is repeated, the consequences will be unpleasant. “The last warning made Tsarukyan and his political colleagues panic-stricken, who hope for Moscow’s support in gaining more seats in the impending parliamentary elections,” the source reads.
