Today, at 3 P.M. “Haykakan Zhamanak” Chief Editor Nikol Pashinyan, being in the underground from March 2, 2008 came to the Prosecutor General’s office accompanied by three lawyers.

He entered the building of Prosecutor General’s office, introduced himself and asked to call the law enforcers to arrest him, the NEWS.am reports. Three policemen approached him, presented themselves as “Kentron” district police officers, but instead of heading him to the RA Special Investigation Service, took him to “Kenton” district police department.

Earlier Nikol Pashinyan answered the journalists’ questions. In particular, he said that came to yield himself today, but not for participation in tomorrow’s rally, so that nobody blames on him hiding behind his fellow-oppositionists. He is certain that will not be amnestied, however prefers to exchange the refuge for the prison.

After the amnesty declared in Armenia and his fellow-oppositionists release, Pashinyan announced that will keep on struggling from the prison.
