Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan held a meeting with Ratna Sahay, Deputy Director of the IMF Middle East and Central Asia Department.

The RA Government’s press service informed NEWS.am IMF Resident Representative, Guillermo Tolosa participated in the meeting.

The sides discussed the current programs. Ms. Ratna Sahay rated high the implementation of IMF programs in Armenia. Comparing Armenia with a number of other countries she said that, though slowly, the Armenian economy is recovering. The IMF official also welcomed the Armenian Central Bank’s steps to ensure market stability.
