The Asian Development Outlook 2010 Update forecasts 3.8% economic growth in Azerbaijan for this year against the previous 9.5%, and 3.5% for 2011 against the previous 9.7%.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its forecast for Armenia downward – 4.8% down to 4%. However, an economic decline similar to that forecast for Azerbaijan is not expected in Armenia.
