Level of the Armenian-Georgian relations cannot be better than today, Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said at today’s joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.
According to him, trade turnover between the states presently totals $144 m. “It is an embarrassing amount, we should work to increase the indicators,” Vashadze said, noting that the sides are taking steps to intensify bilateral cooperation.
In his turn Edward Nalbandian stressed that the trade turnover increased by 50%, over 300 000 tourists visited both countries. The Armenian FM stated that there are no issues that can not be solved through dialogue and negotiations.
“Families and neighbors regularly have certain disagreements, but they are solved through dialogue,” Nalbandian said. He informed the journalists that foreign ministers had also discussed cooperation, regional problems, as well as issues problems of Georgian Armenians.
