On October 4, the Armenian Education Ministry and British Council-Armenia jointly organized a competition within “Skills for Employability” Project by British Council-launched in Yerevan.

Director of British Council-Armenia Arevik Saribekyan said the 15-18-year old youths can participate in the competition. The participants should write compositions on information technologies, particularly present their concepts to achieve success on the Internet.  The best writers will attend a camp in Tsaghkadzor.

According to Saribekyan, over 2000 youths have attended the competition since 2008 and ArmenTel CJSC has been the major sponsor of the event.

General Director of “ArmenTel” Igor Klimko stated the participants’ compositions often develop interesting business ideas.

“The winners of the competition will receive trainings at ArmenTel Company.  It is an important fact that the innovative ideas in their compositions will be put into effect if possible,” Klimko said.
