The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised its world economic growth forecasts upwards – from 4.6% up to 4.8%. On the other hand, the IMF World Economic Outlook forecasts a 4.2% decline in the world GDP.

Specifically, 4% GDP growth is forecast for Armenia, 5% for Georgia and 0.9% for Azerbaijan.

According to the report, economic rehabilitation is not harmonious. Economically developed countries hinder world economic growth ensured by the developing Asian countries. The report forecasts a 2.7% GDP growth in developed countries and 7.1% growth in developing countries. A 10.5% GDP growth is expected in China.
