Threat of war against Iran by conservative regime of some states is quiet real, Cuba’s Ambassador to Armenia Juan Valdes Figueroa told NEWS.am.

Stressing that Yerevan is closely cooperating with Tehran, the Ambassador said that situation over Iran is a regional threat. “Current situation can disturb fragile balance in the region that can be fraught with grave consequences,” he said. He also noted that if the regional states are on alert and take proactive steps to prevent war, they will possibly manage to avoid it under optimistic scenario. “It is a dangerous moment as conservative forces in the name of U.S., that had unleashed war in Iraq and Afghanistan, are ready to initiate hostilities against Iran,” Figueroa concluded.
