Armenians and Greeks were urged to leave their historic motherland and perfectly know what the Diaspora is, Greek Parliament Vice Speaker Rodoula Zisi said during he meeting with Armenian Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan.

According to her, two nations are linked by common history.  “Each year, on April 24 Greeks together with Armenians commemorate memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide,” she stressed.

Hovik Abrahamyan appreciated current level of the Armenian-Greek inter-parliamentary relations. He expressed confidence that forthcoming visit of Armenian President to Greece will give an impetus to development of bilateral relations. The sides also discussed the Armenian-Turkish relations and the Karabakh issue.
