The standing committees of the RA Parliament have begun discussions of the 2011 draft budget. The agenda of the committees’ joint meeting is as follows:

the draft preparation principles and main macroeconomic indicators underlying the draft (price rise expectations, budget deficit, internal and external debt);

profit formation  (customs and tax policy);

expenditure pattern and policy;

social problems and grants to communities;

discussion of the Central Bank’s resolution on the 2011 draft budget;

discussion of a draft administrative budget and a drat capital budget of the Central Bank;

The keynoters are RA Minister of Finance Tigran Davtyan and Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) Artur Javadyan.

RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Vice-Premier Armen Gevorgyan, Minister of Labor and Social Security Artur Grigoryan, Chairman of the RA Statistical Service Stepan Mnatsakanyan and Chairman of theRA State Revenue Committee Gagik Khachatryan have been invited to the week-long discussions.
