On October 19, the EU-Armenia subcommittee for energy, nuclear security, transport and environment held the first session in Yerevan.

The meeting was chaired by Armenian Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Areg Galstyan and John Kjaer, Head of the Unit for Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova and Southern Caucasus, External Relations Directorate General, Armenian Energy Ministry informed NEWS.am.

The Armenian side presented the recent developments in the energy sector, particularly energy strategy and policy, energy substructures and security, Armenia’s environmental policy, climatic changes and civil defense.
