The Zhamanak daily sent a request to the U.S. State Department to specify whether the crackdown on the Armenian criminal network (led by Armenian crime boss Armen Kazarian, nicknamed “Pzo”) arrested in U.S., will affect Armenia-U.S. relations.
In the conversation with the daily, a member of press service of U.S. State Department Valery O’Bryan stated the State Department cannot make comments unless the investigation is carried out.
As NEWS.am reported previously, large network of Armenian criminals and their associates used phantom health care clinics and other means, cheating Medicare out of $163 million.
