Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) does not negotiate with Azerbaijan on membership, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha stated. CSTO comprises 7 member states: Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Asked whether CSTO will cooperate with South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Bordyuzha said “they are not CSTO members yet”.
